OVERVIEW

Convergence is a one-day, in-person conference for professionals who work at the intersection of privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance, including general counsel and privacy leaders, cybersecurity and risk professionals, the insurance and carrier community, and outside counsel. Hosted by Wilson Elser in partnership with Ankura, the program pairs practitioner-level content with built-in opportunities to connect.
Privacy, security, and AI governance are no longer separate conversations. Agentic AI, tightening regulation, and a more active enforcement environment have brought them into the same room. Convergence reflects that reality through four focused sessions, followed by a closing reception to continue the conversation.

Agentic AI seen through contract, operational, and data-risk lenses, with a cybersecurity overlay on the risks of broadening agent access across workflows. The panel takes on emerging AI threats, the AI tools now available to defense teams, and what carriers are watching as these systems scale.

A candid guide to cybersecurity pitfalls and how to avoid the wrath of regulators. Covers SEC cybersecurity risk and disclosure obligations, New York DFS requirements, HIPAA security rules, and HHS enforcement, and the triggers that attract State Attorney General attention, drawing on the experience of former regulators.
